GTS Flexible materials, manufacturer of high-performance flexible composites that help to drive the zero-carbon transition globally is pleased to announce that, Phil O’Donnell (pictured) has been appointed as Group Managing Director. We would like to thank Chris Burgess who is leaving for personal reasons for all his hard work in bringing GTS to the successful position we find ourselves in today.

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Phil brings a wealth of experience, gained from a range of senior roles across a career that spans industries including the automotive, transportation and FMCG sectors. Phil also has extensive international experience, having worked in the UK, Europe, US and spent 10 years living and working in Asia.

Commenting on his appointment, Phil said: “I’m delighted to be joining the business at such an exciting time in its development and am looking forward to working with all our teams as we continually build on our market leading range of products and our R&D support services.”

“I’ve held a wide range of roles, but in each one my guiding principle has been the same: to constantly maintain an absolute focus on the customer. In his role as Group Managing Director, Phil will be based in the UK.
